We’re Michael and Kayla, the husband-and-wife team behind MKE Photobooths.
We want your guests lighting up at the booth, and we want those photos to drop you right back into the night every time you see them.
We started MKE Photobooths in 2022, but the idea came from years on the guest side of weddings and events.
The best ones have a flow to them. Every vendor is dialed into the vibe, adding to the night instead of cutting against it. And then there’s usually that one thing that sticks out like a wrong note.
A lot of the time? The photo booth.
We knew it could be the opposite, a booth that slides right into your event, matches the vibe, and hands people something they actually want to keep.
So we built a photo booth company around exactly that, the elevated version we always wished we could rent.
Photo booths catch what the official photographer can’t. The candid, goofy, in-between moments that capture the energy of the event and help you remember it.
And since your guests run the booth themselves, the photos come out personal in a way posed shots never really do.
Turns out that’s the stuff people actually put on the fridge.
Michael runs the bookings, print and overlay design, green screen, and all the tech. He’s been in building local and global brands that mean something since 2009, and he brings that same eye to making your booth feel built for your event.
Kayla is an award-winning bridal hair and makeup artist working across Wisconsin for 10+ years and runs Marie & Ebe salon in Milwaukee. She’s spent countless wedding mornings in the thick of it, so she knows how the day really flows.
Weddings aren’t a guess for us, they’re a commitment.
Our collaboration goes far beyond our business and we enjoy spending time with our families, traveling the country together and laughing with friends.

and we now host karaoke parties at our home for family & friends.
with our three beautiful cats (Gotham, Metropolis and Priscilla).
And yes we booked our own booth (and did the set up / tear down).
We started MKE Photobooths in 2022 and have run 75+ events since, everything from weddings and birthdays to holiday parties for Fortune 500 companies. We’re not some faceless national chain, but we’ve packed a lot of events into a short stretch and we’ve got the rhythm down.
Pretty much anything worth celebrating. Weddings are our bread and butter, but we also do corporate and holiday parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. If people are gathering, the booth fits right in.
We’re based in Milwaukee and cover all of southeastern Wisconsin, from downtown ballrooms to barns out in the country. For bigger events we’ll travel further too, including the Madison area. If you’re not sure you’re in range, just ask.
A few things. We shoot on a real camera with studio lighting, so your photos actually look good instead of dark and blurry. We handle the whole thing ourselves, setup and teardown included, so you never babysit a booth. And we build the whole look around your event. It’s the elevated version of a photo booth, not the clunky gimmick shoved in a corner.
